Scalp pain

I had a septoplasty last week. Since then I've had scalp pain. Feels like I sunburned my scalp. Is this normal?

I have scalp pain sometimes, when I touch my head or try to brush my hair.
I've always thought it to be one of the many strange symptoms of chiari.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

Do you also have Chiari?

Ask your surgeon if a halo was used during your surgery....since this was on your nose and the Dr would need to keep your head still just like if you were to have Chiari decompression surgery, a halo is used to  steady your head. This can lead to pain and even scabs on the scalp....could be why your scalp feels as it does. If a halo was used I would consider it possible....
