Specialist appt tomorrow! Anyone w/ dilated spinal cord central canal or syrnix?

So I see the chiari specialist tomorrow and through research it sounds like he should be good if not great. But won't know till I see him of course. I just am excited to find out exactly what's going on. If excited is the right word. I just want a answer.

I have a 3 mm dilation in the central canal of my spinal cord which I know is small in comparison with a lot of others. But it is there and I was wondering if anyone else had something similiar. Mine is in the thoracic region where I also have some scoliosis. Do any of you experience symptoms from yours and if so what are they? How do they feel?

I have a syrinx (cervical area and thoracic) and also have chiari.  I am not sure which symptoms are related to which condition.  I did have surgery (pfd with laminectomy, duraplasty, cauterized tonsils, etc) which shrunk my syrinx and got rid of the breathing issues, no longer numb on left side, feeling of chest being squeezed, balance issues, the flow of fluid down my throat, I can hold a pencil/write again, the excruciating head pain when I coughed- are the biggest ones that come to mind.  I am in pain daily which will probably will not change and now have regular headaches which I did not have before surgery (the trade off I guess).

Good Iuck at the doctor!   As far as breathing issues the symptoms my doctor mentioned is that it can be a cause of sleep apnea. My general physician has been the most knowledgeable, but maybe he looked it up.  I get numbness in my hands n thought I just had carpal tunnel, but apparently that too can be linked.  So mention all symptoms even little. I'm learning that I did not explaining it well
