Hello!

First and foremost I AM NOT A DOCTOR...
But, I do have a lot of experience with Syringomyelia!

From my experience and understanding... An XRAY will not do you any good... You will need or should have an MRI...

When I found out I had Syringomyelia they had only done an MRI without contrast. After that it was recommended by my doctor to go back and do an MRI WITH CONTRAST and WITHOUT to confirm the findings. I just used google translate and Cystor is what I thought it was... A cyst.

Syringomyelia is a Cyst or cystor in the spinal cord... Do you have a cystor on your spine or in your spine? That would be a big question to ask!

I have a ton of knowledge and experience on this topic AS SOMEONE THAT HAS IT... Not from a doctors perspective...

If you do find out that it is indead Syringomyelia please feel free to get in touch with me!

By trade... I design software infrastructures... Not on the programming side but basically designing and developing all of the infrastructure before the programmers ever get started on the project!

I said that ONLY for one reason! I love and am pretty good at research, I have spent the last few years researching and studying both surgical and non surgical treatments from all over the USA, to Mexico and now I am in India for this same reason!

Add me up as a friend and whether you have that or not let me know the outcome or the results of your images!

Talk to you soon.

Sure you were looking for more of a specific answer, but DO NOT even consider... PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER... that you may have this until it is verified!

It is not that it is that horrible of a disorder but I know many people that have worried about having certain issues only to find out it was something either much different or less stressful then what they first thought!

My heart goes out to you and I wish you the best!

If there is anything I can do for you do not hesitate to let me know. Hit me up any time!!!

HI and welcome to the Chiari forum.

We have many members that do have syringomyelia and can give u first hand accounts on how it affects them.

As to if several cysts in ur spine can indicate syringomyelia or several syrinx's...it is possible....ur symptoms can be an indication of that  or even chiari....U really need a MRI not a xray...xrays only show bone....to show chiari u need to look at tissue so a MRI is needed.

Ur English is fine, no worries.

I hope this helps  : )
