Thanks does this cause leg pain?
Hi...I would think something is going on and many of us do have Hashimoto's thyroiditis...which is an suto immune thyroid condition and regular thyroid testing may not pick it up...an ultra sound of the thyroid will help determine if there are nodules....and you will need to research Endos as they do not all know how to treat it and many feel it does not need treatment....
Your PCP may be able to help, mine was....
AS for the levels they are on the high side, my sister had thyroid cancer and with meds her levels are above 3...but she is feeling better so they consider that her new normal...so even tho 2.5 for TSH is the avg...there are also free T3 and freeT4 levels that should be looked at as well as the ultra sound.
Keep us posted.
