Tingling face and arms to fingers

I don't seem to be able to clear this feeling of tingling in my head and arms. Tried all kinds of pillows.  Can be there when I waken in the morning.  Rarely without some of it each hour of each day.  Worst around mouth, eyes and left arm.
Have arnold chiari malformation with 6mm tonsils as well as syrinx in thoracic spine.
Any suggestions?

I know that feeling all to well....I had it for many yrs and I recently had my surgery and it is still too soon to know all the benefits, but my numbness is gone.

I do not know where u live or if u have a chiari specialist, but that is what u need to do....get all the testing done and rule everything out.....u already have a syrinx, do u know if u also may have Tethered cord?....EDS....hydrocephalus?.....

My herniation was the same as urs, but I have severe crowding and compression.
The size is not the determination for surgery....low to no CFS flow and overcrowding is a bigger concern than the size.

we have a thread with drs listed that members here have used and like.....if u need help locating this let us know.

No crowding.  Syrinx and Chiari are unrelated, or so I was told by one neurosurg.  Seeing another one shortly. Can get up n the morning with the tingling.  Tingling in face can be worse around mouth even when i smile.  Thanks Selma

From everything I've read a syrinx and chiari can be related...so the dr is misinformed.

It is great that ur CSF flow is good.

May I ask where is ur syrinx located?
