Trouble breathing

I was just in the ER being seen mainly for difficulty breathing. The only way I could describe it was a yawning feeling but once I took a deep breath it wasn't enoigh. I've had this breathing problem with pain for about three hours. They said it wasn't related to my Hashimoto's but they said everywhere that was touched in surgery was around the "yawning headquarters" of your body. I was sent home after being monitored and given a head CT and told if it happens tomorrow to go to the neurosurgeon.

Has anyone experienced anything similar to this? I've had it happen once but not to this extreme

In 10 months time frame you are still healing on the inside as it can take up to 2 yrs for the nerves to heal and longer depending on if you are a slow healer like myself....

Scar tissue can also form and cause issues so deff see your NS. and let us know what you find out.

Hi....I did have some issues with breathing....and yawning but not the same thing you experienced....I would get a really tight sensation in my muscles of my throat when I would yawn...hurt like heck....almost like the muscles went into a spasm of some sort....

My breathing issues were again not the same as yours....but I know we can get them....how far post op are you now?
