Update and prayer for Andrea

I saw Dr Oro today and my MRI is fabulous:) I start work and physical therapy this week.  I met a girl named Andrea having surgery tomorrow. I told her about our forum she has not gotten to talk to anyone with chiari.  Please pray for her.

  I too am glad u told him of the forum.

After I met him at a chiari conference I tried to e-mail him...didn't get newhere...but, thought I would ask a few questions and let him know about the forum as well...if I had been closer, I would have gone to see him...as I felt the same thing about him as he spoke .....so compassionate and gentle.

He was funny my love of roller coasters came up again and he said if I ever get on one let him know how I feel a cople days later.  I said no thanks I will take your advice and stay off.  He said nobody has ever called to tell Jaheim they ride and what happened....I said wont be me.

I am so  glad to hear that your post op visit went so well, and that your MRI was clear !! HIP HIP HOORAY !!!! How neat that you told him about our forum!!! I bet his heart was lightened to hear that so many of us think so highly  of him and that he has helped so many in the group. I am emailing my dad the link to the forum. I think that it will help him to understand the necessity of the surgery, and then see others with positive outcomes from surgery.

That is so neat that you informed dr oro about our site. He is just the sweetest down to earth dr i have ever met. God love him for all the people hes helped.

Thanks Nick...sorry about the HA:( Yes Selma PT first week to see how I do and let him know.  He said I don't have to come back unless I have issues.  it was fun talking to Dr Oro when I wasn't feeling horrible.  I talked to him a little about our forum and he said so there is a group of you that talk I said yeah Nick was here this morning and ou saw Dana last week and you did a fusion on a dirk from Loveland but I can only remember her screen name right now LOL.  I told him again how different he is .... warm and fuzzy.  I told him I wanted to ask preop but didn't and asked if he was a Christian and he is:) When he talks about food he only eats it in the form God made it and he has a light to him....I just knew:)

I saw Kim at Dr. Oro's office today. Was very pleasant. I have a killer headache however. While doing my examination she pushed on the back of my neck at the base of the skull and I have had a killer headache all day. Kind of a bummer because I really wanted to go sight seeing. Tomorrow I go for an eye exam, MRI and my nutritional appointment with Kim. Very please so far. I am glad your appointment went well Rylanesmom.

  So glad to hear ur MRI was clear and things r going so well....r u going back to work part time?

She was excited to hear about it and pulled it up on her iPad :) I think she will.  She was excited to meet me post op and happy to know she could find others to talk to.
