Update

I have disc bulge at c5-6 and facet atropathy in lower lumbar spine. I have considerably diminished flow posterior to the cord and no flow posterior to the tonsils.  Abnormal flow posteriorly and an 11 mm herniation of the cerebellar tonsils . Dr oro wants me to physical therapy and are a pain specialist then see him again in 6 weeks. I don't know how I feel about it, just worried its not gonna help and my cognitive issues are a huge issue that pt is not going to help.... I'm disappointed, I feel like its gonna new another 6 months till I get relief and prob end up with surgery anyways so why not just do the surgery now our at least schedule it.....

  Hi...many times the Drs send u to PT bcuz it is a mandatory thing for the insurance.....a step that must be taken so to speak....most of us have  had it as well. I know I did......ins comps really dictate to the Drs what and how to practice medicine which  is a real crime.

  It is hard to say, but u have diminished flow...I did not see the word over crowding.....

I imagine ur symptoms list is long?......

Symptoms very long,i have every symptom on the chairi list plus.   He said he would do surgery if the pt did not improve and the pain blocks don't help. he said it was crowded.he also said he only does surgery on 1/4 people that see him. My fatigue and cog. Diff are awful I feel like I'm 90 and memory is horrible. I have occipital neuralgia , extreme headaches, body aches and extreme back pain. I just feel miserable all the time.my quality of life is a 3 on a scale of 1-10.  I fall down the stairs because of balance issues, I have numbness and tingling, dizzy, swelling issues, drop attacjs , and I prob forgot some.....

U have drop attacks and Dr Oro has u taking PT?...hmmmmmm can u describe ur drop attacks?

I just fall out of nowhere especially if I'm walking up stairs, kinda like if I black out for a few seconds.

Yeah I told them I've fallen down the stairs because my legs just give out. I asked if the blockage was a concern and he said it is, but I don't want you to be in more pain after the surgery and because my optic nerves are tender that if they cut the muscles it might make my headaches worse. He did recommend I see a neurologist.

Oh and I had a full blown grand mal seizure that sent me to the hospital a year ago and nobody every found a cause, he did not mention that to me or talk about it. That worries me.

Oh the drop attacks only happened I think 3 times

Well it can be an ins thing or he needs u to use PT to gain strength b4 surgery...I know I did have PT b4 several surgeries that I had, and some were bcuz the ins comp required it.

I am concerned about u having drop attacks, I hope u do not drive???

I have to drive to work.like I said it only had happened when climbing the stairs and only 3 times and for a few seconds... So I do drive, I feel ok driving.

A drop attack can happen at ne time, not just climbing steps...and u could be behind the wheel.....

  What is happening to u may not be a drop attack if it is only when climbing stairs, that sounds  more strain related.....

A drop attack u feel fine and then u go out....be careful just in case it is a true drop attack.
