WEDDING DAY WISHES

hI all, just wanted to start a thread for all us chiarians out there who Selma has adviced,kept going and informed with her amazing knowledge.

Most of us are aware that Selmas DD gets married 1.10.10 so just wanted to start thread for us to send her our love, good luck, congratulations or whatever we felt fitted the occasion.

Good luck Selma have an amazing day, thinking of you from over here in England, hope the sun shines on your beautiful DD big day and that you enjoy every second of it.

well, the kids should be joined as one now in marital bliss, the dancing winding down to a slow roar, selma's shoes should be nowhere to be found and she should be sitting back with an exhausted smile of relief on her face for a job well done...  i can just picture it, can't you?  feet up on the hubbys lap, getting a gentle foot rub as they gaze teary eyed and lovingly at their beautiful little girl...their baby...that just started a new path in her own life.  watching her dancing oh so close with her new husband, the love in their shared gaze palpitable.  they remember the feelings of excitement and hope of a future unknown.  holding each other, the tears gently fall down their faces, blending together, still as one.after all these years and marvel at the greatest accomplishment of their lives.  ahhhh yes....i can see... i can feel it.....i can even smell the flowers...but darn i sure did want a piece of that cake!!!   can't wait to hear all the details!  hope you feel up to calling me tonight!  lol!

Lizzy u made me cry......lovely sentiments from such dear friends...Ang saw this thread and is so very grateful for the well wishes and that I have such good friends.
I am crying more over this thread than I did at the wedding.

We got in about 130 am......and got up again at 8....it was DH's bday and a wedding breakfast....all the out of towners and out of country wedding party members were all together once more b4 they had to leave.

we had clean up....there is still more, but my feet had swollen up to look like balloons I could not wear shoes.....it was diff walking...but I made it thru...enjoyed myself sooooo very much, was surprised by music selections DD made....like Tiny Bubbles by Don Ho while we were eating...this song I sang her to sleep with.....she put soooooo much thought into all she planned and it meant soooo very much all I could do was smile.

Forgive me for being away so long,and if my legs and back were not so bad I might still be cleaning up.....but I was going thru withdrawals.....missing all of u.

I will be posting pics soon...I know some r up on face book....selma snurd.....I think I have to comment on them for u all to see, so give me time to catch up....I have 10 PM's here!!....lol....
