If you have read my "All about you" section you will know that I have all the symptoms of Chiari.  I have been diagnosised with Bipolar Disorder I, Sleep Apnea, urinary incontentence, fibromyalgia, headaches, dizziness, ringing in the ears, Difficulty remembering, difficulty expressing thoughts into words, slurred speach, poor balance, falling a lot, Narcalepsy type sleeping behaviors, Diabete's, hyperthyroidism, constipation/diarreha, heart palitations, was treated for hbp at one time.  And the list goes on.....

Oh, and my bio. sister was diagnosed with Chiari last Monday.  I here it is heretitary.

What do you think?  Could I have Chiari?

The question is out there.  My doctor has had me get an MRI.  I will know the results any time now.

Hi....I feel like I know u already.....I know u have a very special son who cares so much for his mom!

I saw u have apnea...do u use CPAP?......

Anything is possible, and so many things have the same symptoms......I'll say a prayer and please let me know what u find out!

I would say that there's a chance you have it. Not necessarily 100%, but enough that I think the MRI was a good idea.

I've heard that the basic chance of two people having it in the same family is around 14%.
