What is the best pain relief to take for pressure in head and ears.

I have just been diagnosed with Chiari 1 during emergency admission to hospital with long term headaches and high blood pressure. Been referred to Queen Elizabeth University hospital in Glasgow. Don't have any information as I didn't see consultant for more details before hospital discharge. I won't know any more until I get my appointment. I have anti sickness med to ease dizziness but suffer from pressure in head and ears which is causing eye pain and dull hearing. I can't get an appointment to see or even speak to a GP. I wonder if anyone can advise what is the best pain relief to ease symptoms.
