Thanks. I have applied for Medicaid a few yrs ago and was denied but I should try again. I am getting married in Sept and will get my husband's health ins then but don't think I can wait that long. Its the not knowing that is so frusterating!
Hi Mickey,
Do you live in the US? If you do have you applied for Medicaid? If not it's worth a shot. Luckily for me I was accepted and it has paid for a lot of my tests that I wouldn't have been able to have if I didn't have it. It's not the greatest and most specialist won't accept it, but it has covered all of my MRI's and initial vist to a NL and NS. Unfortunately I can't find a Chiari specialist that will take it, but I'm still searching.
Good Luck to you, let us know how it goes.

Hi Mickey and welcome to the Chiari forum.
It is possible that the symptoms r related to ur MVA, a syrinx can develop or if u do have chiari a MVA can trigger symptoms.
U really need a MRI of the brain w/wo contrast and a MRI of the cervical spine to see for sure, once confirmed there r more tests to be done.
Many of ur symptoms could be considered chiari or syringomyelia, but there r many other conditions that have similar symptoms.
I hope we r able to help u find out what is going on.
