Years after chiari surgery????

My problem is what is happening to me 10 years since my surgery.  The headaches are less frequent but still as intense. But with each passing year I get a new symptom that just gets worse with time.  Is anyone else experiencing anything like this or am I just going crazy???

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

Well once u have chiari u will always have it, surgery is not a cure, but a means to slow progression and restore CSF flow.

It is possible that u have scar tissue or another issue going on, when was ur last MRI and neuro exam?

You arent crazy. I am 4 months post op and most of my symptoms are still here. Actually my headaches are just as bad and seem to be more frequent than before. I guess we will never know how chiari works?
