You have chiari when you tell people you had brain surgery, of course you get the "Oh My God, are you Ok?" reaction. Then you tell them that basically your brain was too big for your head, and they needed to make room. (sorta true, people love it, they think you're lying)

So Many times I have left the house to go some where…. then had to stop and think where am I going…..as a result I am always late getting to where I am going…..my significant other has said so many times” you’ll be late for your own funeral” ...I wish….lol!!!

Anita...I think u got it right and so did one member and sorry, my chiari won't let me remember or find it...but we had a member say  Dori from Finding Nemo must have had chiari...love that...so true...lol....

when u go to the mall, park ur car and go in
after shopping u go to find ur car and cant find it
u look silly so u start to laff
then u think it might be stolen so u get upset
then u find your car and laff again
then u go five miles outta your way going home
u r lost and u know it but too proud to ask anyone
so u pull over, get your bearings....it takes a few mins
then u get home safely and thank God and laff again
just my take on it....i could be wrong

i make my friends laff, but when i started saying, u know, the thingy with the thingy...
then we really started to laugh....but thats when i really notices some changes....

lol....same here, I hated walking on grass...and don't get me started with ramps.....

or even walking into a darkened room......

If I walk on uneven ground I have problems with depth perception so I have a habit of looking down…this is not good where you have a black and white checker board floor…..

I had the same problem going into a very crowded grocery store......too many things going on couldn't focus.....I had the feeling of intense pressure and I could not focus on where I was going...and I was moving so slowly my DD grabed my are an lead me to a seat.....not fun either
