aphasia therapy after chiari surgery

has anyone had aphasia therapy after surgery?
i would like to ask my dr. about getting therapy for aphasia, as i continue to at times have difficulty finding the right words when speaking.
ex: i am having a conversation with friends and i want to say "coffee" but instead i will say three different words before saying coffee. or i find myself saying the line "you know what i mean" a lot becomes i cant find the words to say what i want. also spelling, and reading>
can you guys share your experiences with these symptoms?

Hi...no, and not sure  how that really works...cognitive speech therapy....hmmmm   it makes sense, but I also know our cognitive issues were bcuz of the compression and not sure u can use that type of therapy for it...I feel IMHO time as swelling goes down some of it will get better....

I must admit at 2.5 yrs post op I still find it diff at times to find words...but it is when there is a lot of distraction and many different things going on at once....if I slow down, I can find the words....limit the distractions I am ok.....lol...

again JMHO...let me know how this works if u try it
