are there things i should avoid doing now?

i had my decompression surgery march 13, 2013. they took out my c1 and some bone from my skull and put in a cadaver patch. my question is, though im feeling great, are there activities i need to avoid from now on? i got the ok to run so im slowly working my way up to that. but i mean like, should i avoid roller coasters or anything now? or should i be ok?

Happy to get an update on u  : )

And I am happy to hear u r feeling well, but until u r further in ur recovery I would suggest taking things slowly as over doing it can cause set backs...so hold off on running for now....

Typically around 3 months post op many begin to experience some return of symptoms...this is the healing process and many can get depressed as they were feeling so good just b4....so if u start to do too much u will not know if it is from what u r doing or if it is the healing etc....

And we r all diff, so listen to ur body on what u can do, and what u try new just start slowly.....

Yes roller coasters is one thing you do not need to do.  I know they have a list here to avoid this,  I am glad everything is going good.  Best thing to do is listen to your body it will tell you alot and I have learned that the hard way.  So keep getting better.
