arnold chiari malformation

I had surgery back in Nov 2015,had to return for a tare in the mesh and have it repaired in Dec.2015 doing better but I am having itching and pulling on the sides of the incision, my question is this normal ?

  Hi katie51 and welcome to the Chiari forum.

Yes, the itching and pulling is very normal....it is the incision healing....and it can dry out as a result of washing your hair too often and using a harsh shampoo.....my NS told me to wash as little as possible and use a baby shampoo that is gentle.
