best procedure for getting a diagnosis, chiari suggested by chiropractor?

I've been reading a lot of other people stories here and it gives me a slight bit of relief because it all sounds somewhat familiar.  For my whole life I have suffered from killer headache but told it was just a migraine.  Some of my other symptoms include but not limited to haha....
Constant pain, just a normal part of life
Vertigo
Ringing in ears
Coordination problems, I'm a big Clutz
Random passing out with loss of motor control
Speech problems,  sometimes I can't think of the simplest words and sometimes I open ,my mouth and sound like a baby who hasn't learned how to talk
Anxiety
Vision problems,  now and then my eyes cross and stay that way for hours
Back and neck pain that never seems to go away
Poor circulation my hands and feet almost always cold but I do have Factor V Leiden
Brain fog, so hard to focus and remember some days
I have muscle spasms and cramps doing easy things
Sometimes I choke on food because it's hard to swallow
There's always pressure in my head neck behind my eyes, more so when I cough bend over look up for too long
Seems like I'm complaining but I'm just sick and tired of being like this
I have a wonderful man in my life who wants to help me be healthy and find a way to fix this or at least take the edge off some of the pain, plus 3 kids who understand that mommy just can't do all the normal things all the time. I feel guilty every day for not being enough but try not to throw a pity party because it's not fair.

Anyway, I'm finally getting insurance next month and wondered what the suggestions are for getting a diagnosis any diagnosis.  Have had so many tests in the past 15 years with no luck but never had a name to check into or rule out, Holter monitor,  eegs lots, mris,  CT scans, blood work,  tilt table,  just to name a few.  So now I'm starting over in a new place with no Dr.  Most recent mri was a year ago, what should I do first? Also in AZ so any Dr suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum,

Your symptoms could lead to a Chiari DX..but keep in mind there are several conditions with similar symptoms......lymes and lupus and MS need to be ruled as non related conditions then there are related conditions.....POTS, ICP, EDS,BI, and CCI, and retro flexed odontoid.

If you had a MRI and a CT make sure to get copies of the testing and any other testing you may have had....and the reports as this will help the new Dr to have something to compare to....going forward always request copies of tests and the reports.

We do have a listing of Drs for AZ, but the list is not a referral nor an endorsement of those listed ....most Chiari Drs will only see you once you have a Chiari DX. This list is to be used to research the Drs.
Be advised yo may have to travel to get to a Dr that is right for you.
