I hope you are feeling well as you read this. I read your comment above and imagined you in a crowded room with lots of people talking over each other in excitement over the game - I imagine you felt a distance and a sense of disorientation. Just the sound of all the voices probably affects you. As Selma says above, the noise volume and the number or people can lead to your disoriented feelings. Is bright light also difficult for you?
After surgery, the effort to participate in normal everyday activities must be overwhelming for you. I am 5 months out of my surgery and love the quiet and the light of a single candle at night. Allow yourself the healing comfort of silence, simplicity, and slow activity. You really do need (and very much deserve) your peace so that you can heal and then build up to being able to participate in the activities you enjoyed pre-surgery.
Hi we all can get that sensation at any time of recovery...or before surgery.
I tend to find I feel disoriented in large crowds ....it may have been too loud or just too much going on....it takes time to heal and 10 weeks you at just at the tip of starting.....
Try smaller gatherings, with less noise....it may help....
