can CM affect more than one family member???

hey all,
jus a quick question - can CM affect more than one family member?? i told my mom about this site and ive helped her join - she commented to me the other day that she left post in neurogoloy and i felt like i could have wrote that meself - it sounds soo much like how i do - yet i have the seizures my mom dont.. if any one could take the time to read my moms posts heres the link (if it works) and please tell me your thoughts..

Hi,, yes it is possible to have family members share in this condition, but they may have totally diff symptoms and issues.

Some that have chiari  find they have passed it on to their children.....the research for this is still being done.....but, there r just too many instances where this does seem to be the case.
