chiari-5 years post op-pain and discomfort returning

I am almost 5 years post op and in the past 2 weeks or so I have been experiencing such a pressure and squeezing pain in the back of my head. Sometimes if I yawn, the pressure is relieved for a couple minutes but it comes and goes. Anyone experience this? Also, for the past month or so, I noticed my numbness and tingling in my arms/hands/legs and feet have started to come back. I have a neurosurgeon appt in 2 weeks (I've not seen anyone or had an MRI in over 4 years) but I'm wondering how these symptoms are all coming back and all at once too. Pretty much freaked out. I've always had them off and on even after surgery but it's like they are getting worse all of a sudden :( Part of me wonders if it's the weather or increase in stress recently that may be causing the discomfort. Chiari is so incredibly frustrating.

Hi kelli.....it could be something like scar tissue has formed due to the surgery and is causing an obstruction of CSF flow again....

Were ALL related conditions ruled out b4 surgery?
