chiari and moving pain

so i had the decompression surgery two and a half years ago and have been doing pretty good. about two weeks ago i had a head ache then it has slowly moved down my neck and through my shoulder blades and now in my hips and legs  i have been in pain for the whole two weeks except for a few hours a day???right now i am just so happy when i am not hurting.. my neck has been sore to touch, weird right just want to know if any one els has had this happen and What is a good pain med. to ask for.

   When I looked into EDS, I said the same thing, I do not have that...but I do...it is weird how u think u can not possibly be classified with something bcuz of the symptoms listed, but that is just a guideline...all I knew was I had slow healing and easy bruising....well what I do not know was I do have hyper flexible joints...and my skin is soft and velvety like.....

There r sooooooooo many types of EDS that I would let a Dr check u for it b4 u dismiss and think u do not have it...bcuz I did the same thing, but found by exam I did and u do need to know for surgery to help with recovery to help avoid set backs.....

Not so much that they r rare, that a chiarian may have it, but just not linked or associated with chiari right off...the dots r not connected....some look at symptoms and dx as separate conditions instead of seeing it is connected.

i have a appt with  a new nero. on may 24th. taking all the info .. now i have three scans and one zip.


i looked up the  Ehlers-Danlos  some. I do not have that... so i think i am understanding that there are some other rare things out there that we as Chiarians are more likely to have?

hmm i have not heard of Ehlers-Danlos   but you know i am so looking it up. right

ya stress from work.. and such... and started to exercise on the wii i had been doing pretty darn good then wam oh ya I have  chiari,   i am kinda mad about it. cause truly the way i feel *****. last summer i even went hiking and stuff. i was felling good and now its back i guess it never left. I am so  so very glad to read post oh here cause i guess we are all ALOT  alike.

last... i had a MRI today the last one befor that was about a year and a half ago. so i will find out soon  if things have changed or not and I will compare the reports and all i have to dig them out.. i moved.not sure about the bulging disk.    i will let you know.   Thanks

  Hi....I was wondering is u were dx'd with ne other chiari related conditions that could cause pain...such as Ehlers-Danlos?

And if u were under stress lately more than normal? It is odd what will trigger pain is our bodies....

Last, if u know of ne disk issues...I have a bulging disk and it can cause a  lot of pain like u mentioned...it is just a thought.

When was ur last MRI?
