chiari ears please help.

okay so i have a whole lot of symptoms, and what I am suspecting is chiari zero, my mri showed herniation at the magnum and not beyond it, my spine mri shows no syrinx, so doctors can't diagnose me.. my major problem is with the plugged ears and the ringing 24/7, ofcourse dizzyness  nausea and vision changes colours seem so bright.
my temporal bone mri showed:
.right internal carotid artery transverse part shwed a boney defect posteriorlaterally between it and the middle ear even though both internal carotids are not reaching lateral to the cochlear promontory (not aberrant)
.same goes to the left ear but less defect done my the caroted artery..

my question is,, are chiari malformations related to carotid artery defects in the temporal bone in the ear, thanks for any help ????

Hi.....not sure the carotid artery is a related condition or issue for those with Chiari...BUT I was told I had to have mine checked before I had the PFD surgery.

Keep in mind many with Chiari do have other related and some unrelated conditions.....Chiari does not come alone.
