No, most of the NS's do not work with ins, so u pay them out of pocket to see them, and they do accept most of what the ins gives for the surgery...there is a new guy in charge and he takes ins, but so many flock to him bcuz of that and I am not hearing great things...so???
I feel it was well worth it to pay the out of pocket for the NS....the NL and all the rest were covered as well as all the testing I had done....best to call and see who they set u up with and talk with the financial dept and see what they say.
well united healthcare says its in network and i have unlimited lifetime coverage so hopefully that is the case but i also heard that the docs there dont always accept the amount the ins will give
Hi, I too had a Dr say my Chiari was "above him" he was a supposed Chiari specialist and I did go to TCI in NY for my surgery....I did not have Dr B, but one of the other surgeons and I was well pleased....
Check with ur ins and what u can afford and find a way to get the best care for u....it may be at TCI, and it may not...only u can decide who is the right Dr for u.
SORRY COMPLICATED FOR HIM NOT HIS
