got a copy of my cine mri

does anybody know how  to read them?!  lol! I was told the report would be ready today, but i would not be able to get a copy until the end of the week.  seeing them and not knowing what to look for is driving me crazy!!

Based on the previous postings it sounds as though you have turned in for the night, but I wanted to respond to a comment you made earlier. It really made me think (fog has lifted, however it still remains in the forecast). Your comment was, "with truth comes knowledge." Well, with the experiences I have been having with the NL & my PCP, I think I'm going to turn that phrase around just for them..."with knowledge comes truth!" Maybe once they know more about Chiari they can be truthful w/me & any other Chiarians that follow...then they can honestly & knowingly say, "yes, you should be concerned & this dx is a cause for your symptoms."   - Jean

frustrating to have the answers you seek in your hands and not know how to read them, isn't it!

It is frustrating and I cant see the logic behind giving a patent a report that is not explained, it just seems pointless, it only adds to the stress in my view because you are going to get it explained to you anyway by your consultant but if you have a report that is not explained you will go to the internet for answers, here yoc may get some answers but they are not unique to you and this can lead to confusion I think.

sometimes it can take forever and a day to get the facility to send you a cd of your mri, ct...whatever!  if i ask for it before they even do the test, i have never been denied and i don't have to wait an indefinate period of time~  i have another dr. app this week with the nl and i will need that cd to show him!  i can't rely on the ns office to get the copy of the report to me as quickly as i need it, so as i look at, having the cd is better than having nothing at all!  and when the report does come in, i can fax it over to the nl office!  it's not their fault that i try to play radiologist and read my own xrays!  good thing i'm not a cat or surely i'd be dead by now!!!
