i have a fiend who is an emt, she looked up chiari and found there is another illness that has the same symptoms as chiari. she also told me how to check if your ears are draining spinal fluid. get a dry white paper towel, knapkin and place it over your ear tilt head, if the stain gets a halo around it it is spinal fluid. imagine that after all the specialist ive been to it took an emt to tell me that. oh and you can imagine the opions of the specialist lol
There is more then one condition out there with symptoms similar if not identical to chiari and that is y we r put thru so many tests...MS, Lupus, Lymes...and I am sure there r more nething that can affect the nerves in the same manor as chiari by obstructing CSF low or impinging the nerves will have the same effect or symptoms...one more reason Drs r so adamant that it is not chiari causing the issue...lol...
But the drip test is a good one, I was given a sterile cup to try and catch some to be tested...ummm no, that is not possible, but this most likely would have worked far better....
