how long does a cine mri take?

I have mine booked for 3rd Oct for flow study and spine scan hope both at once...

How long will it take roughly

Honestly just the spine test alone will take awhile, if its of the whole spine, cine is short.

I had a full spine and cine MRI done together and I think I was in there for almost 2 hours. It would have been shorter but they found 2 thoracic syrinx's and they then had to do the dye as well. Wishing you the best!

  Yeah I hate to say it, but it may be a while if they r doing both, and if they find something they may extend the pics they take...meaning take a few more to see what all is  going on....so, be patient, and try to relax while u r inside and have someone take u so if u feel off when u come out u will not be the one driving.

My cine MRI took about an hour. I did not have a spine scan done. I requested to be sedated for my MRIs because laying flat can induce my dizziness, plus it is very uncomfortable for me.  They gave me low doses of Valium for each MRI and it did help, so you may want to ask about it.  Good luck-you'll do fine!
