just a request

I know its bot a question and it might be weird, but I could use dome words of encouragement..going to the ER right now, symptoms got worse and slurring and not talking right..my head feels like it will explode..was trying to wait till my insurance starts on first, but my boss almost called 911 :-(

Well im getting mixed answers...still pretty confused. The main two answers are the chiari and a minor stroke. I have to use a cane for a bit and meet with their neurosurgeon. But I am definitely gonna get copies of everything to take to my neuro..still don't know why my oxygen keeps dropping..hopefully I can go home soon. Thanks for the prayers, this is a really trying time.

Well your going the right place.  Hopefully you got your headache to subside a little.  I know through my tough road.  I went to ER they gave me a shot of some kind.  Came home and it helped getting some rest and helped the headache.  Just keep us updated.  I know it isn't alway's easy to get on line in the hospital.  Your in my chirian prayer's.

Thank you :-) I was admitted and I'm doing an MRI today and being transferred to a neuro rehab....they said I might have to stay there a couple days and poss. Speech therapy

I know how you feel. I was at the ER yesterday (not for my Chiari). The doctor was very nice and the nurse too.

You are in my prayer, I belived they will do the best they can to help you.

  Sorry, u must have given everyone and urself a fright.

These are not uncommon symptoms for chiari...not sure what the ER can do but be sure u r not in  medical distress and that it is just a short lived symptom.

  Hopefully u can hang tight till the 1st....

  From my drop attack until I got to a NS that knew Chiari was almost a yr later....so I know how u feel....try to relax.

  and do let us know what the Drs at the ER say.
