nausea...have you tried this

It seems that a lot of us have nausea problems.  Before surgery they put a sticker behind my ear for nausea.  They replaced it 3 days later (they last 3 days).  I was really sick to my stomach the morning I was to fly home so I asked for NS to call in a sticker and I have been fine since (3 days now).  I am just wondering if those with nausea problems have tried transderm scopolamine 1.5 mg dis.  I think I am going to talk to my PCP about it tomorrow it says it is a anticholinergic agent used for preventing nausea and vomiting associted with motion sickness and recovery from anesthesia and surgery.  It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.  They said when you remove it to wash your hands really well because the med on the sticker can dialate your eyes and I don't remember what else.  I just think if you are sick to your stomach it is hard to take a pill and this seems to work well for me....any thoughts out there?

That was one of the first meds I tried, as my first symptom was dizziness and nausea that felt like motion sickness.  The patch helped, but it really irritated my skin so I switched to another motion sickness med (pill), which also helped.  It's a ton easier to get used to being dizzy all the time when you don't feel like you're going to puke!

I was not given this post op, but my issue was the morphine and as soon as it was changed  my vomiting and nausea subsided.....
