new MRI question

Earlier this month I had a STAT mri because my head has been hurting worse than it did before my decompression.  The report says I have re-herniated 12mm causing a syrinx in my cervical spine.  But I can't tell where my skull ends.  Can someone point it out to me?   The photos are in my album.

I see the neurosurgeon on the 17th.  But I'm wondering how common re-herniation is?  What do you think my options will be?

  Hi.....I had a few not so good and one or two great nurses.....they are like a box of chocolates...you never know what you are going to get...lol...

Did they start you on neck exercises yet?

Still in the hospital. I hate memorial Hermann in the med center so much id almost take my specialist off the list. Or maybe I'm just unlucky in nurses.

Well. I'm really hoarse and have been choking a little. He seemed really concerned with the choking.  I'm waiting in registration now. On insurance. My mind is still reeling. I wasn't expecting this. Dr dong Kim in Houston tx is doing my surgery. He thinks I've reherniated because of untreated (for a while because I'm obstinate about new symptoms) hydrocephalus. I trust him. I think my last decomlression I had stitches still for Christmas. Thibgs always fall on holidays for me.  It's the craziest thing.

I saw my NS today and am having a second decompression tomorrow at 11. I can't believe surgery is happening so quick!
