one side weakness

I have a question for anyone post chiari surgery has anyone had weakness on side of there neck even pain just on one side?

I saw my NS yesterday and he said i just to get my strength back in my neck, its caused from the surgery I asked if I could get one my trigger point shots from my pain dr and the NS said yes so I saw my pain dr. today and I got my shot and she (pain dr) said that this is the wosrt my neck has ever been but I know it does not help that I have scoliosis in my upper back but I can only fix 1 thing at a time. I will ask my NS tomorrow thats when i see him again I called his office about it and spoke with the nurse she said she would call if it anything bad and if not talk to the NS when i see him tomorrow

Do u know if ur herniation was worse on one side?

Mine was the left side of my neck...range of motion was limited...vertigo was worse turning to my left...and had more neck and shoulder pain on my left as well.

Ask ur NS if u had a larger herniation on one side...it may explain the weakness u feel as well as pain.

yes i have more pain and weakness on the right side only of my neck

Hi...not sure exactly what u mean?.....weakness in /of ur neck muscles? and or pain on one side...bcuz I did have more issues with the left side of my neck.....
