pain doctor update

Well i had at some point a real good doctor experience today.the dr.asked me so many things and listened carefully and took so many notes.he touched different points and then he honestly told me that he cannot tell me exactely what of all the possibilities is my problem.i loved this as he didnt tell me super sure it is this.he actually mentioned all the things that i have researched so far in one year in one conversation.it can be from my mandibulars,i have a heavy contraction on my left and it can be trigeminus nerve or lets say nerve damage...so now i start to do rehab for my contraction,i take the mouth piece to discharge mandibular problems and start to take a seizure pill.by the way he was one of the only drs that told me i wanna see u in 3weeks and even spoke english to me if spanish was not clear...so far i love his honesty and the almost 1 hour time he took to listen to me!!! Lets hope i get relieve and thanks for letting me share with u.

Hi...I replied to this and now do not see my comment....??? Oh well....

I am so glad u had such a positive experience with the Dr.Not only did he give u time and offer ideas that it could be this, and I have no idea about that, but he also listened to u!

That is rare and we need more Drs like that....do keep us posted on how this all works out for u : )

Thats strange, for my left arm is painful when i move it alot. Almost like the soreness you get from workin out, only i dont work out lol. Oh the aches and pains out of nowhere. By the way i am on the gabapentin also. Been since feb. Hope it helps you. I take mine at night mostly. It makes me sleepy. Then i have effexor for morning. I start straight away with the new seizure drug gabapentin...i am with my mouth piece as my jaw bone is already incredibly wasted for my age and will make a massage accupunture date.i am not sure if it will help, but the doctor really saw i am even nervous to talk to doctors and lost total faith...he was listening more than my ns ever did.and i prefer a doctor trying to find out whats happening to me rather than having a definite answer which is almost impossible in my case.and i repeat the fact he even spoke english to me made me feel so good (people here usally dont know how to present themselves in english...which also i cannot expect) he even asked for the names of the doctors i have seen and i am sure in case of a doubt he will contact them....wow thats what i expect a doctor to be...willing,listening and not giving up with a single answer.thanks dana for ur answer i know how we both understand each other!!! P.s.i never noticed i have pain lifting my arm too...tried to read newspaper today...the size and lifting made it impossible plus painful

You needed this dr to point you in a direction. When do  you start? Is it therapy? If so be careful and dont let them push you ok. Keep me updated. <3 Dana
