pituitary tumor and psuedo tumor cerebri

I was recently diagnosed with a pseudo tumor cerebi and had an mri done and discovered that I also have a pituitary tumor. I had a spinal tap done but I still have headaches and nausea and tingling in my fingers, feet and lips. Does anyone else have both of these issues? My doctor said it's rare to have both. I'm not sure if having the pituitay tumor removed will solve any issues. I don't know when I need a spinal tap again because I don't know if its the pituitary tumor causing the symptoms or the pseudo tumor.

Thanks. I'm new to this site and I'm just learning how it works. I'm going to see the neuro surgeon on Monday to see if he thinks I should have the tumor removed. Has anyone had the surgery? I watched it on youtube and it looks pretty simple. What's recovery like?

I have not had the pituitary tumor surgery, but did have the PFD surgery which is brain surgery too, but not the same area.....

AS far as recovery....like I tell those asking about PFD, we r all diff and it depends on u and how u rebound....how u respond to meds and ur threshold of pain....

U r stronger in that I can not watch a surgery...it is too much for me....but, I did make it thru and I am doing well.

Ask ur NS as many questions as u can...and if u r not comfortable with him, find another one and ask him the same questions and then decide which u feel more comfortable with.

Good Luck Monday- Post an update : )
