post surgery complication

Hello my daughter had surgery last December for Chari 1 malformation.  They did a crainyectomy with duraplasty,  some symptoms have resolved but she still experiences migraines about every other week.  She recently started having tremirs of her bilateral arms with left ulnar nerve pain.  She has had an MRI and an EMG which were both negative. Is there anyone who has had these post surgical symptoms and if so what type of treatment.

I have had headaches post-op, but they are nowhere near as common as before surgery. Are you sure they are migraines, or just bad headaches?

I have some arm pains/problems, but it is only in my right arm. It may or may not be related to the Chiari/Syringomyelia (I was in a car wreck about 6 years ago and did some damage to my right shoulder and hand). Does she have issues with holding things or numbness in her left hand?

Hey! I have had the surgery- craniotomy with duraplasty! But- I am just 3 weeks post op.  So- I don't know that I can be much help about symptoms that reoccur because I have been lucky and I haven't had any symptoms reoccur yet.   How soon did the symptoms start after surgery?  I HAVE read somewhere- not sure where- sorry, but I have heard of people continuing to have migraines after the surgery.  So- the tests come back negative what are the doctors saying about the pain?  Good luck and I hope you find answers to help your daughter.
