pregnant with chiari

I recently (as of last night) found out I am expecting.  I had surgery 13 months ago and have been relatively okay since.  I'm just wondering if there is anything different I need to do.  Or tell the doctor,  or go to a special doctor.  I just want everything to be okay.  I don't know who else to ask since no one ever understands.

  Me too...Congratulations!!!!

Yes, talk to ur OBGYN and let them know, they should have an idea, if not get a book by Diane Mueller about Chiari  and pregnancy, she works with
Dr O and  has studied the effects,

Most are encouraged to have a C section to avoid the strain of natural child birth.

U may also experience some return of some symptoms during pregnancy as ur body goes thru so many changes....just know it is "normal" and should dissipate after u give birth.

Keep us posted...will want to know how things go for u and the little one : )
