I know the feeling...I have felt like that too..especially with the leg involvement but no one could see one on my MRI`s either. I don`t get the water feeling but I definitely get the burning feeling, mine goes down my neck and into my arms. I find it gets much worse when I am sitting without back support (like right now lol)..for me I think it is the strain of the muscles trying to hold my neck up vs some arthritis in my neck.
I have heard that if you have a small syrinx, that it may not be picked up on a MRI..

I think I have one as well or the start of one that no one can see on a MRI...but the docs say I don't. so who knows. They are the ones who can read them...not me. So I trust them.
I have felt that before. I thought it was really weird but not that its a good thing you feel it too..its good to know i'm not the only one. I don't feel burning but the water coming down feeling yes, along with numbness and tingling kind of like Ray explained with the ants. It's a mixture of both. I'm beginning to think I might have a syrinx. hmmm
Hi Sheila, I get a sensation of Ants crawling on the skin of my lower legs, the burning sensations and pain all together in the same area. It is conceivable that what you are experiencing is some thing similar. I was told it was a nerve thing, possible due to the Syrinx. Where I feel ants you feel water.
As selma said you have a lot going on and this is causing a build-up of stress, this is not good for people with CM, I know it is not easy but try and relax, do something that will take your mind of your health problems even if it is for a short time.......

Hi....if u r expecting rain...or the barometric pressure if low that could be what u r feeling...I do not know for sure, but the weather along with ur stress with how close ur surgery is could be playing together to give these feelings.
