surgery today!!! prayers needed!!

as i am typing this,  phoenix63,  better known to some  as Suzanne, is one her way into  surgery.  so lets light up the switchboard to heaven with our prayers for God to guide the surgeons hands so that Suzanne may find the relief she seeks from the pain and confusion chiari and it's nasty cousins have brought into her life.

just talked to suzannes parents and they said she just got out of surgery a few minutes ago and they are taking her to ICU as we were talking.  according to "mom", she's doing not just great, but GREAT!  her dr said she came thru it like a "real trooper"!  YYYYYYYYYEEEEEAAAHHHHHHH!  YIPPY!  WAY TO GO, SUZANNE!!!!!
her mom said she would keep me posted on her progress and i assured her we would continue to keep her in our prayers...

ok!  so, you are now closing in on 24hrs post op.  i wonder how you're feeling?  i'm afraid to call your mother just yet, as she might be trying to catch a few zzzzzz's.  so....instead i shall shoot off another prayer in your direction along with a large dose of healing karma with a hearty helping of feelin good juju to help you along!  hoping today is as successful in your recovery as yesterday was with your surgery!

i spoke with suzannes mother today...suzanne had a very difficult night last night.  she had a terrific headache that lasted thru the night and into today.  seems they were having some trouble controling the pain and she was suffering quite a lot.  they have decided to keep her in the hospital an extra day and have suggested rehab on her release.  her parents have decided against that and will take care of her themselves at home.  i do agree that surely she will feel more comfortable at home surrounded by those she loves and who love her...and that will surely speed her recovery!  
our friend needs our prayers, folks, so please keep them coming!

we're pulling for you, suzanne!  and i'm sending you a super hefty dose of quick healing karma juju to help you along!  can you feel it?
