try looking into syringomyelia. my husband has it. it was caused by cm and spinal decompression surgery was done 7 years ago. Baclofen seems to help with the spasms.
I also have tremors pr op and post op. I also have eds. Drs don't say what its from but some times I can't even write. :/
Hmm, Selma, that's a good question. I'm glad you posted here. I had a possible EDS DX when I was 15 but never went to the follow up (also didn't know I had the DX until reading the medical record last month). I forgot to bring it up with my NS on Wednesday! Ugh!
So, Mike, that's a good question. I would definitely bring it up with your doctor!
HI, I get them as well and was told this is more from the EDS DX I have....not sure if Chiari can cause it or if it is just a EDS thing....but Chiari can affect all aspects of the way we function so, I would imagine it is possible.'
DO rule out EDS too.
Hi! I don't know that Chiari causes tremors, but I can say that I have them. I had them much more so prior to my decompression surgery, but I still get them occasionally now. I did find it odd that it seemed to happen when relaxing, though it also happened when picking up things.
Best wishes,
Annie
