Thank you for getting stronger.  As I mentioned before I felt the same as you and didn't know where to turn.  I would come on here and every one would lift my spirt's and make me stronger and understand.  I am so happy to hear you had a better day.   :)  Linda

The other thing...don't get caught up in the number of months and timeframe.  I know it's hard and we all have our hopes and expectations.  I did it as well but everyone is different and three months of recovery for me is not the same as anyone else.  You and your doctor will be the ones that know best.

I had surgery at the end of July and had to go back in about 3 weeks later.  I started back to work the second week in October but had to do several days a week and only half days.  It was mid to late December before I got back to some 8 hour days.  It was very tough at first but starting to do some definitely helped.  I went back to full-time at the beginning of this year.  Most days I would have to take a nap when I got home.  About two weeks ago I finally felt normal again.  If you are able to start slower and build yourself up that would probably be best.  I was fortunate in that respect but not everyone is.

I am 16 mths post op and I don't know how many times Selma had to remind me that we all do heal differently and yes only being 3 mths post op you might be pushing yourself.  What I would suggest is have someone go with you on the journey of the bus and train and do the route before even going back and see how your body will handle it.  I do suggest you buy earplug's for the nose that you will encounter.  I just don't want you to give up, but maybe try doing this suggestion and see how your body response.  I wish you the best on this journey of returning back to work.  I know there are a lot of blessed one's out there that have returned.

BUT u r only 3 months post op...u will continue to see benefits as u heal...this is too early in the recovery process to say how u have benefited from this surgery.

From 3 months to 1 yr post op u will see differences to the better and from 1 yr to 2 yrs post op u will see even more.....

U can not base how this surgery has worked until u r done healing.

Try but dont overdo it. As selma says, listen to your body. Dont feel horrible if you need more time off. Its a long process. Be careful. ;)

...well i guess they will expect me to function normal again like i almost was before.its office work which sounds quite ok,but it can be a lot of stress too.i used to get so dizzy and the half of my face went numb...i dont know how it will be now.to go to my work i have to take bus and train...its 2hours pendeling thats the main issue.i am just so afraid i am not able to work anymore...but if i never try i will never know right?
My symptoms didnt get worse.its the vertigo and not stable feeling in my legs that is annoying.but though if i overdo i end up bad...

From watching posts for almost 4 yrs now, I know that at the 3 months time frame is a time that many may resume having some symptoms that up to this point may not have had since the surgery.

Many nerves  may have been compressed that r now working again, and nerves carry signals for pain, and tingles and what ever else we feel.

If u were to experience something new or if the pain was worse then b4 surgery then u need to contact ur Dr...but yes, we still can have symptoms and I understand this is typical of the healing process.

I also do not understand how when u feel like this one can go back to work, some have...some with success, some with set backs....I would suggest u listen to ur body and if u need a limited schedule to start then try that....if u feel up to a full schedule, then I say proceed with caution.

Obviously I have not gone back....hence y I can't understand how some r able....but we r all different and u have to look at ur situation and know ur limitations...what u r expected to do at work and how well will ur employer work with in ur needs?

I am the same sa Sexybare.  I thought I would have surgery and be back to work in 3 months.  Instead I was in surgery again.  Some people can go back, but sad to say I also couldn't go back.  Suggested my my NS not to.  It was harder to quit me job than it was having surgery.  I loved going to work every day.  There was different plans.  I all depend's on what you do.  My job was very physical and noisy.  I went in for a visit and paid the price of a servere HA afterward.  I hope you can do it, but don't feel bad if you can't.  I think the process of Chairi is the excepptance of what we can no longer due because of it.  Let us know.  Just listen to your heart and body.  It will lead you down the right path.

Its been 5 months now and honestly i dont think im gonna be able to do it anymor.i will try and try tho. It all depends on the type of work and you?! Good luck and be vareful. It dont hurt to try just know what your body is tellin you :)
