weather changes and symptoms

by chadry, Jan 06, 2009 04:44PM
I am not sure if this was posted before but i am curious about something. Does anyone experience more symptoms when the weather changes? Like before a storm comes in?
We are getting a winter storm coming throught the next few days and i had a feeling i would get a phone call from the school today about my daughter not feeling well. I was right. About 2 hours into school she started to get her headace and dizzy/vertigo feeling which made her fell sick in her stomach. That was right about the time the light rain started.
I am starting to notice a pattern with this.
Take care

Hi Chadry, Yes we r expecting a storm also and I have a bad headache.....I have been called a walking barometer...people at work could tell because I'd sneeze and my vocie gets hoarse.

It is usually 2 days prior that I feel bad and when the bad weather arrives, I feel like a ton of bricks were lifted off of me.

My shoulder and arm start hurting when the weather gets bad. Rain, sleet, snow, just cold damp weather keeps me from being able to sleep sometimes.

Which is a shame, because I've always loved a good storm. :(

Oh well!

I know what you mean about the aches and pains. i have DDD myself so I feel the pains too. I just know she gets her headaches. She has a bad one today. It hasn't eased up any. She has had tylenol and some motrin and now another tylenol. Hopefully it will ease up soon. I think it has to do with the barometric pressure myself.
The cold and dampness get me. My neck has been very sore today and I could not sleep last night. I hate when you just can't find any comfortable position. I have the problems in my neck and my low back so one position may be good for my back but not the neck and vice versa. Hopefully tonight will be better.
Talk to yous later
