SPD, Bi-Polar, ADHD (both types), Advanced Autism

How do I know which one of these Disorders is the "Culprit" of his aggressive and abusive behavior, both verbal and physical??
I'm trying to raise my grandson with all these issues but not sure which one is causing his bad behavior.  Giving  him baths, feeding him, going to bed. Just saying the word "NO" can cause major  chaos!! His fits of anger whether in public or not can be extremely embarrassing. He even punches me at times in the stomach. Very Foul language he learned young from his mother, which is now in prison.  I've already warned neighbors about him.  Time outs are a joke.  With him there are no consequences.   What are your suggestions on disipline with this kind of childs behavior?
He is taking Ritalin and Zyprexa.  Zyprexa doesn't seem to be working.  Been on it for three weeks now.  Has to take Melatonin to go to sleep and that doesn't seem to be working now.
Any comments greatly appreciated!

You may want to have his doctor check him deeper for severe Bipolar. My sisters son was diagnosed ADHD< and bipolar and they did more testing and found out he just had a deeper and advanced bipolar. He is off the meds now after only a year and goes to behavioral therapy 1 a week and has a TSS come to his house to work with him and the family 3 times a week. He is learning to control it and he has been doing a lot better. He had all the same signs as your grandson except he was severly violent to the point where he tried to strangle his mom and sister whom was only 3 and he was 6. It is worth talking to the doctor about.

How old is he?  How long has he been in your care?  The situatio sounds much too complicated for any of us on here to shed some light.

It sounds like he is on lots of meds....I think you should start over with a new specialist and see if you can get him help.

You deserve a lot of credit for taking this on.
