15 Month Bites for no reason

15 Month Bites for no reason

My daughter (15 months) bites everyday. Yesterday the daycare told me that she bit 3 kids one she broke skin and another was for no reason. The kid passed her by and she grabbed him and just bit him for no reason. The last kid she bit because she went for a toy that maybe my daughter wanted. She bites herself during her tantrums and bites me and her dad when she is excited or mad. We tell her no bit and sit her on the floor and walk away. When she stops crying we go back to her and tell her that biting isn't nice. She is only missing her canines and 2 year molers she has the rest of her teeth. She is a very happy child other wise very low maintenace. She is an only child, but plays well with her friends at home and at daycare. She even enjoys playing on her own in the playroom at the house. I am real worried that there are bigger issues here. I really hope I am just overreacting, but any advice would be great. Thanks :)

I am thinking this is probably just a phase.  You have a biter on your hands. I think if otherwise she is nice and you say low maintenance this shoudl come to pass, but I know it's hard... One time at Chick fil A my son bit a kid there and I don't know why, but his mother gave me the most horrified look, it was very embarassing..
