15 year old anger issues

my daughter is 15 years old and attempted suicide due to severe depression. She was given prozac,depakote,and trazodone. once released from treatment she began having anger outbursts.
the doctor changed her medication to seroquel, zoloft,and trazodone and although she remains severly depressed she continues to have major anger outbursts. Prior to being placed on mood stabilzers she has never had angry outbursts only depression. can mood stabilizers create anger outbursts in teens.

Yes, it is possible that irritability and anger can be side effects of some mood stabilizers. Continue to discuss this with her prescribing doctor. It can be difficult to discern if the anger is symptomatic of Bipolar D/O or side effect of medication.

I think you should just talk to her, and ask if there are any problem's at all concerning life and tell her that your always there for her no matter what it may help a little you never know. (not being offensive if you already do)
