1st grader having problems with impulses and studing

HI, My 6 yr. old 1st grader doesn't follow directions or listens.
Everyday he comes home with a note on his behaviorAutistic behavior
Behavior - unusual or strange
Bulimia
Hyperactivity
Suicide and suicidal behavior
Temper tantrums chart says not following directions or not listening. HE is quiet an impulsive kid but has come a long way. Initially he was quiet a flollower and wouldn't choose a right choice but now he is ok with all that. But not following directions and listening creating a lot of trouble. He has started suffering on academic lelvel too. Many times he doesn;t pay attentionAttention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd) to teacher's teaching and not being able to finish task or do rightly. Looses interest in work as he has not understood the task or concept. He'l try to finish something with some ans. printed on his work ****.
Due to this he took atelast 3 yrs. to learn swimming but now when he finally learnt he is really motivated and practices a lot.
He doesn't understand the fact that its him who has to follow directions, listen. As soon as at home I ask him to finish hi studies he cries for about an hr. saying he didn;t get to watch his tv or for any simple reason, inshort blaming us for diff. reasons. Everyday its battle and argument and I'm tired of this.
If i try to talk to him about listening nad following directions sometimes he gets it and sometimes not. Most of the time he argues about it saying we are responsible. or why we got so and so which could  be anything such as why daddy is watching tv. etc.
I don;t think he really understands what does it really mean following directions. He wont stop sometimes when being told to stop. He'll do it anyway as i think he can't control his impulses.
I asked teacher and she feels that he doesn;t need anykind of testing etc all he has to do is listen and pay attentionsAttention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd). He has to do it. He takes little longer to understand math concept too.
Also now days he forgets pretty easily about simple additions substracions.
He satarts the workshits and will do all addition and substractions wrong. even simple one such as 2+3, or count by 2's or even 1s.
He has lots of friends and talks too much. He is an only childChild neglect and psychological abuse
Child safety seats
Child tylenol cold multi-symptom plus cough
School age child development.
I give him simple step instructions and he will forget them next moment. SOmetimes he satarts talking to himself about something and gets lost in it.

I'm confused - has your son been diagnosed with autism and/or ADHD?
