2 year old pants wetting

by beautifulu, May 22, 2007 12:00AM
I have a two year old son that has been potty trained for about 5 months now and he recently started to pee his pants during the day at least 4 to 6 times daily.(but not during the night)I took him in to the doctor to get checked and he just said that the tip of his penis looks slightly red but should clear up with vitC and crannberry juice.I am soon going to have another child in less than 2 mos but why would he just start to act up now if that is the case. Help!!!!!!!!

He was potty trained too early.   Around 19 months is way too early for a boy - they really don't have bladder/bowel control at that point.

Good news is,  when they go off to kindergarten,  they'll be ready!

Best wishes.

Something may just be triggering this--I know my son was trained early---fully trained at about 2 and 4 mos.  He was ready for Pre School in Sept.  Just relaz a little bit and see if in a few days he is fine.---it just might be early regression with the new baby on the way, also--stranger things have happened.  Also could he be so absorb in playing that he forgets that he is supposed to go to the bathroom?  If you are able just watch him and see if there is any tell tale signs of him knowing that he is wetting or if it is just totally going without knowing.--It may help you solve the problem of making him go every half hour or every hour just to keep him dry

potty trained waaay too early. and boys have problems after tehy are potty trained because they dont have the sense of peeing as much girls do and they tend to have more accidents. and boys also have more accidents at night too.
