My son is 20 months old and he cant say except( mama, baba, anna, dada, adah, kaka, gaga, ayya) is it normal that he cant 1 meaningful word ? my pediatrician said he's late but its okay as its a bilingual house ..
Should i see a specialist ?
thanks

Yes, he is delayed in acquiring language, but this is not terribly worrisome at this point (particularly given the bilingual situation). I would give it another six months and see if he doesn't pick up some momentum, which he likely will.
