3 1/2 yr old Regresses

My 3 1/2 year old has regressed on the potty for the 3rd time. He was potty trained early (age 2) so took awhile to get it. Then, finally did. He recently regressed again (for 3rd time). He now makes BM in his pants -- especially at school. And, he doesn't seem to care. He has no problems with urninating on potty at home or at school. I can't seem to get him to talk to me about why he is doing this. I have tried many rewards (stickers, rewards, candy) and have resorted to having to leave fun activities or playdates if he has an accident. Does anyone have any advice?
