3 year old not eatin/drinkin

does anyone have an idea why my 3 yr old little girl is afraid 2 eat or drink.she says she swallowed a penny bout 2 days ago and took her 2 the doctor and x-rays were negative.they did urine test and said she was good.she still wont eat but she did take a sippy cup last nite and drunk all of it.today she wont touch anything.complaining that her bellys been hurtin 4 a couple days now also.had diahrea bout 4 days ago.Im at a loss with what 2 do..any suggestions woulf be helpful

It is possible it is a virus we have had many this year ..she may simply not have any appetite , if she has diarreha ,main thing is make sure she is getting liquids , get some pedialyte ,if the pain continues take her back to the doctor for a further check up As for the penny they have done xrays if it s working its way through her system it will come out in her poop so have a look .Dont worry about food right now liquids more important then start her off with some chicken soup maybe some rice .good luck let us know how she is doing ..

she has no pain but act like she wants 2 eat then turns it away..drank last nite goin 2 bed but not since then..its got me so worried..she does complain every now and then bout stomach but i think its empty and growling..what can i do 2 get her 2 drink

Make sure its a really good tasting drink.. I may get shot down now but if necessary give her some coka cola not diet,  ..it has electrolytes ..give her a straw to sip through one of those pretty curly ones.Lastly dont make a big thing of it she is realising she is getting lots of attention ,so cool it ..Does sound like a virus, if it continues off to the Doc .....

I think she is not interested to eat. It is a common problem for the children.  It may be possible she is feeling unwell or suffering any digest problem so she is not feeling well or hungry. You can consult with a baby consultant. Do  not worry.She will be fine.

thanks every1 shes drinkin 2day..still not eatin but i think shell get there..all good suggestions
