4 YR. OLD USEING LOTIONS ON HIS PENIS

by ALI111, Jan 02, 2003 12:00AM
WHY WOULD A 4 YR. OLD WHOM IS JUST STARTING TO GET POTTY TRAINED GO BYHIMSELF INTO BATHROOM AND APPLY POWDER AND LOTIONS TO HIS PENIS. HE IS A LITTLE BIT SPECIAL NEEDS AS WELL. WE ASKED HIS DAYCARE IF HE SEES SOME ONE DOING THIS BUT THE ONLY THING SHE SAID WAS THAT THE LITTLE ONES ARE DIAPERED AND NO POWDER IS USED EVER AND NO LOTIONS BUT RASH OINTMENTS. WHY WOULD HE DO THIS? SHOULD WE WORRY?

No, there's no need to worry about this. But do ask him what he thinks. It is likely just an insignificant behavior that derives from the current focus, with potty training, on his penis, but has no other special significance.
