I am a nanny for a four year old little girl. She has a weird obsession with feet. When I first started working with her if we sat on the couch she would rub her feet and toes on and in between my feet and toes and I finally started teaching her not to do that but she still loves to rub her hands and fingers all over my feet and toes and sometimes she will even put her face down near my feet and try to stick my toe in her ears or rub my toes on her face or nose. She does it more when my feet are cold. She is a very affectionate and touchy feely child. She loves to be right beside me or her parents, so much sometimes I have to tell her we are taking a break from snuggling. Is there an explanation for this?
